What do you do when the world falls to pieces?
I go for a walk, and if I’m very lucky, I find mushrooms. Mushrooms throw me back to my senses, not simply – as with flowers – through their exuberant colors and scents, but because they pop up so unexpectedly and remind me of the happiness of simply being there. Then I know that there are still joys amidst the horrors of indeterminacy.

The series of pigment prints (20×26 cm, limited edition of 20 copies) explores connections between the living and non-living. A new piece is added each month, allowing the series to grow like a loosely bound book. The prints are available individually, framed (33.4×27.4 cm, oiled limewood, museum glass UV70) for € 550,-.
