Kritter #8 I photographed technical snow along the Stubnerkogelbahn in Bad Gastein on the last day of the ski season. The snow was produced using a lance at 1266 meters above sea level and photographed the day after production. Technical snow consists of water that is thrown into the cold air in fine drops by the nozzles of the snow machines and falls to the ground as snow. The difference to natural snow is mainly aesthetic.
