Kritter #12 „I found the Asian lady beetle on a small branch in a resin collection pot used by a resin tapper. Attracted by the sweet smell of pine resin, the beetle had become stuck in the sticky substance. The beetle, introduced to Europe for pest control, and the product of a craft harvested by the last commercial resin tapper in Lower Austria. The beetle has been documented in Austria since 2006.
